Luxury Coast Retreat 2 Kings
San Clemente, CA, United States
Freshly renovated North Beach retreat, just a five-minute walk to the sand. Two king bedrooms, private hot tub, fire pit lounge, complimentary golf cart, and a private garden wellness studio with dual massage capability.
Good to know
Just a five-minute walk from the sand and freshly reimagined from top to bottom, this North Beach retreat blends coastal ease with boutique-level design. Two king bedrooms, a private hot tub courtyard, fire pit lounge, complimentary golf cart, and a one-of-a-kind garden wellness studio combine to create an experience most hotels can't match — let alone replicate. Thoughtfully curated for four guests, the home prioritizes space, privacy, and atmosphere over maximum occupancy. Every room has been freshly painted and styled. Five original works commissioned exclusively for this residence by Southern California surrealist painter Stephanie Leonard hang throughout — each piece created for its specific placement, creating a quiet gallery presence that moves with the light. A vintage turntable in the living room. A Nespresso Creatista on the kitchen counter. White waffle robes waiting in the rooms. The details here are intentional. THE EXPERIENCE Mornings begin with espresso on the front deck before an easy three-block stroll to 204's Beach. Afternoons unfold along the San Clemente Beach Trail, at Trestles, or cruising to the pier and local cafés by golf cart — beach chairs, beach towels, umbrella, and cooler all included. Evenings open up on the upper deck — teak dining table, coastal breeze, twinkling city lights, and a quiet horizon glow over the rooftops. When the pace slows, the hot tub is waiting. When the evening deepens, the fire pit lounge comes alive under string lights and open sky. PRIVATE WELLNESS STUDIO Tucked into the lower garden beneath a canopy of banana palms and tropical greenery, the private wellness pavilion is the kind of amenity you won't find anywhere else in San Clemente. Accessed by a stone garden path, the canvas studio opens into a dedicated wellness space equipped for yoga, fitness, and resort-style in-home massage. The studio includes a workout bench, dumbbells, medicine ball, yoga mat, and resistance equipment. When styled for massage — as shown in our photos — two full treatment tables fit side by side with candles, champagne, and garden views. For in-home massage bookings, we recommend the Zeel app; therapists arrive with full setups and transform the space into a private spa experience. This is a rare amenity. There is nothing else like it in the area. OUTDOOR LIVING The property's outdoor spaces are as intentional as the interior. The upper deck features a teak dining table for six with sweeping open-sky views over the North Beach rooftops. The hot tub courtyard — private, lush, and surrounded by potted palms and flowering plants — is styled for evenings with champagne and stars. The lower fire pit lounge anchors a flagstone courtyard with string lights overhead, a garden bar counter, lounge chairs, and a built-in BBQ grill. An outdoor surf and beach gear station — with surfboards, bodyboards, a cedar locker, outdoor rinse shower, and teal tile bath — ensures beach days stay effortless. INTERIOR DESIGN AND COMFORT The open-concept main level features vaulted shiplap ceilings, wide-plank hardwood-style floors, and an oversized kitchen island with butcher block top and six bar stools. The kitchen is fully chef-appointed with a gas range, farmhouse sink, marble countertops, wine rack, and Nespresso Creatista espresso station. A vintage turntable and curated record collection anchor the living room alongside a sectional, electric fireplace, and custom wood slat feature wall. BEDROOMS The primary bedroom features a king platform bed with luxury linen bedding, a dark accent wall, commissioned coastal artwork, a vanity sitting area with wicker pendant light. The second bedroom takes a different tone — charcoal walls, vaulted ceilings, a dramatic original oil painting above the king bed, matched bedside lamps, built-in shelving nook, and a writing desk with beautiful coastal skyline views. A well-appointed shared bath with marble tile and mosaic accents serves both rooms. Both bedrooms have blackout/room darkening shades. ARCHITECTURE AND PRIVACY The residence occupies the entire upper level of a thoughtfully designed coastal property. All guest spaces — including the hot tub courtyard, back and front decks, wellness studio, and entry — are fully private and exclusively yours. The lower unit has its own separate entrance with no shared walls or outdoor spaces, ensuring complete seclusion with the quiet reassurance of on-site presence if ever needed. A NOTE ON HISTORY You may recognize us from our appearance on Shark Tank — this property is where the Locker Board skateboard was invented, adding a unique chapter to the property's story. The original workshop remains on-site as an outdoor office space with a nod to that history. LOCATION: NORTH BEACH HISTORIC DISTRICT Three-block walk to 204's Beach and the San Clemente Beach Trail. Walk to Casino San Clemente and Ole Hanson venues. Minutes to Trestles and San Onofre surf breaks. Five-minute drive to Del Mar Avenue dining. Approximately 45 minutes to both Disneyland and San Diego. North Beach offers a walkable coastal atmosphere — relaxed, refined, and removed from the density of larger beach cities. WHY THIS COMMANDS ITS VALUE This residence is intentionally designed for four guests — not maximized for occupancy. You are not paying for unused bedrooms. You are investing in two true king bedrooms, a five-minute walk to the beach, a private hot tub, elevated sunset dining, a complimentary golf cart, a private wellness and fitness studio with couples massage capability, five commissioned original artworks, and thoughtful design throughout. Very few properties in North Beach offer this combination. For guests who prioritize quality over quantity, the value is clear. Accessibility and Availability
Neighborhood
LOCATION: NORTH BEACH HISTORIC DISTRICT Casa Reposo sits in the heart of San Clemente's North Beach Historic District — one of the most storied and walkable neighborhoods on the Southern California coast. North Beach holds a place on the National Register of Historic Places, anchored by the original Ole Hanson buildings that define the neighborhood's character: the Casino San Clemente, the Ole Hanson Beach Club, and the Miramar Theatre and Bowling Alley — all within walking distance and all available as stunning wedding and event venues. San Clemente itself was founded in 1925 by Ole Hanson as one of California's first master-planned towns, and that intentional, unhurried spirit still defines the place today. From Casa Reposo you can walk to three beaches — 204's, Linda Lane, and the Pier — or pick up the San Clemente Beach Trail right at the trailhead steps away. The trail winds 2+ miles along the coastline with sweeping ocean views that never get old. Grab sunset cocktails at Fisherman's on the pier. Swim at the Ole Hanson Beach Club. Explore the local breweries, restaurants, and boutiques that line the neighborhood streets. When you're ready to venture further — hop on your golf cart or bikes down PCH to Dana Point Harbor, surf Lowers, San-O, or Doheny, or drive less than a mile to Del Mar Avenue for shopping, dining, and the beloved Sunday Farmers Market. San Clemente is the kind of town that gets under your skin. Laid back, friendly, and steeped in history — guests come for a weekend and start looking at real estate. You have been warned. 🌊
